Congratulations
to the LION on its 10th Anniversary of disrupting the public airwaves!
SAVE THE LION
90.7FM!!!!!!!!!
The Penn State Office of Student Affairs has decided to cut
funding to The Lion (Apparently if the chess club cannot get an
operating budget then neither can the FCC licensed FM student station).
You can help out by sending an e-mail to savethelion@yahoo.com
In the e-mail explain how much the Lion means to you and why UPAC
should keep us around. Do your part, keep good radio alive!
Read
some of the responses here!
(Unfortunately we lost EVERYTHING that had been sent to savethelion907fm
@ yahoo.com. we don't know why, yahoo just deleted it all. PLEASE
RESEND your email to the addy above if you earlier sent one to the
original 907fm one. Sorry, and thx!)

It's 8:30 p.m., two days after Christmas, and he will be up...

How do you replace Paula Abdul? You don't. That's no knock on Ellen DeGeneres — it's just that absurd Hollywood creatures like Paula are rare and precious flukes of the universe, like the Loch Ness monster in sequined capri pants. Without Paula, American Idol loses its crazy factor, the suspenseful thrill that you're never more than a few minutes away from seeing a grade-A display of batshit antics on live TV. And what is American Idol without a dose of crazy?
Sending Ellen in to...
